Wie die katholische Kirche, so kennt auch die anglikanische Kirche Männer- und Frauenorden. Diese sind in der praktischen Arbeit, wie auch als kontemplative Klöster vorhanden und befolgen dieselben Regeln der katholischen Orden. Oftmals haben sie auch die gleichen Namen.
